In my professional career, I have served as a Project Manager and Total Quality Manager at Aycell Communication and Marketing Company, Strategy and Planning Manager / ERP System Manager at Kaya Telekom A.Ş., and Deputy General Manager at Comtech Telecommunications Inc. During my public service that started in 2006 at the Turkish Statistical Institute, I held positions such as TÜİK Expert, Team Leader of the Industry Department, and Group Leader of Environmental Accounts. Between 2018 and 2022, I served as the Head of the Environment and Climate Department at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. I completed my role as Deputy Head of the Climate Change Presidency, which was established on October 29, 2021, on February 16, 2024, after resigning from my civil service. Currently, I work as the Director of Public Relations at Çimentaş, a company operating under Cementir Holding, one of our country's esteemed firms. I have published many scientific articles and papers in national and international fields on Renewable Energy, Environment, Climate Change, and Combustion Fuels. I have taught part-time as a guest lecturer at Turkish Aeronautical Association and Gazi University. Since 2015, I have been serving as a Senior Expert (ERT) in the Agriculture and Energy Sectors within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). In this context, I technically review the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Reports (NIR) on behalf of the UNFCCC, representing our country each year. My main areas of expertise include Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Renewable Energy, Climate Change, Climate Change Negotiations, Climate Policy Analysis, Energy Efficiency, and Strategic Project Planning. I am married and a father of one child."

"Murat Artu was born in 1954 in Karşıyaka, İzmir, and lived there until completing high school. He moved to Ankara for university education in 1973 and graduated from the Middle East Technical University (METU) Architecture Department in 1978. He completed his master's degree in 1981 with a thesis on 'University Campus Planning'. After working in various architecture offices, he began his freelance architecture activities in 1981. He has worked on numerous projects in Turkey and abroad, including residential sites, office buildings, and hotels, providing architectural services as well as construction consultancy. He continued his professional activities in Bodrum from 2010 onwards, focusing on selected projects. Throughout his career, he won various awards in competitions and served on juries.
