Between 2018 and 2022, I served as the Head of the Environment and Climate Department at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. I completed my role as Deputy Head of the Climate Change Presidency, which was established on October 29, 2021, on February 16, 2024, after resigning from my civil service. Currently, I work as the Director of Public Relations at Çimentaş, a company operating under Cementir Holding, one of our country's esteemed firms. I have published many scientific articles and papers in national and international fields on Renewable Energy, Environment, Climate Change, and Combustion Fuels. I have taught part-time as a guest lecturer at Turkish Aeronautical Association and Gazi University. Since 2015, I have been serving as a Senior Expert (ERT) in the Agriculture and Energy Sectors within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). In this context, I technically review the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Reports (NIR) on behalf of the UNFCCC, representing our country each year. My main areas of expertise include Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Renewable Energy, Climate Change, Climate Change Negotiations, Climate Policy Analysis, Energy Efficiency, and Strategic Project Planning. I am married and a father of one child."
