I started my public service at the Turkish Statistical Institute in 2006, where I served as a TÜİK Expert, Team Leader of the Industry Department, and Group Leader of Environmental Accounts. Between 2018 and 2022, I served as the Head of the Environment and Climate Department at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. I completed my role as Deputy Head of the Climate Change Presidency, which was established on October 29, 2021, on February 16, 2024. Currently, I work as the Director of Public Relations at Çimentaş, a company operating under Cementir Holding. I have published many scientific articles and papers in national and international fields on Renewable Energy, Environment, Climate Change, and Combustion Fuels. I have also taught part-time as a guest lecturer at Turkish Aeronautical Association and Gazi University. Since 2015, I have been serving as a Senior Expert (ERT) in the Agriculture and Energy Sectors within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). In this capacity, I technically review the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Reports (NIR) on behalf of the UNFCCC, representing our country.
