Kızlarağası Hanı

Kızlarağası Hanı is one of the most important tourist attractions in İzmir, located in the historic Kemeraltı Bazaar. It is the best-preserved han among many historical hans in the area. The two-story building features a spacious courtyard surrounded by shops selling handicrafts, clothing, souvenirs, and decorative items. The upper floor houses jewelry design workshops, traditional arts studios, and cafes. Kızlarağası Hanı was built in 1744 by Hacı Beşir Ağa and was restored in 1993 to serve as a tourist market.
