Generally, people do not like change and unconsciously resist it. Everyone can guess how difficult it is to accustom a person who has written books on a typewriter for years to a computer. Or telling an accountant who has been working for many years with an old system of calculators and printed invoices to now enter their invoices here and do the calculations from here, while it simplifies their job, still makes the old and longer way seem easier due to their habits, and they repeatedly choose to ignore the other option.
It can be said that a similar logic exists in the agreement situation in our system, which is being discussed here. The sales personnel who will write this or the lawyer who will prepare it, of course, were not writing it by hand on paper, but they had a Word environment that they had seen and been accustomed to for years, and we can say that this was their comfort zone. To pull that user out of there and say "you will now write in these inputs" means expecting them to get used to the visual change and unconsciously restricting them. Instead, we wanted to achieve the same result by making a few design tweaks that would neither take the user out of their habits nor prevent the result from being visible right in front of them.
With these small tweaks, providing users with elements similar to their comfort zones instead of standard inputs, no matter how nice the design is, will give the user on that screen a feeling of being valuable, and this additional motivation will show its difference.
