Design thinking can be described as a concept that expresses the strategic and practical situations in which ideas are developed. The prominent aspect of this way of thinking is rooted in experience. Throughout our lives, we interact with the objects, digital products, and much more around us, and we direct our thoughts and experiences accordingly.

Principle-based thought focused design:

- The first stage, empathy : Empathy is established with users.
- The second stage, define : The needs, problems, and insights are identified.
- The third stage, design : Assumptions are made for ideas that will create innovative solutions, and assumptions are challenged.
- The fourth stage, prototype : Topics and issues are prototyped to transition into the phase of generating solutions.
- The fifth stage, test : The identified solutions are tested and evaluated.

Design thinking does not only offer a new perspective to digital businesses, but it also applies to any work you may be doing. The practice of design thinking definitely does not adhere to molds and preconceptions. The fundamental goal is to break free from patterns and facilitate the emergence of creative ideas. All these bring about innovative thinking. This way of thinking can advance or make any product or thing more functional. It aims to leave behind the traditional and stereotypical thought model that has been prevalent for years. However, through this method, we can start to think outside the box.

In a scenario described in an article, a truck gets stuck while attempting to pass under a bridge. The truck can neither move forward nor backward. It remains immobile due to being stuck. Engineers, firefighters, truck drivers, and emergency personnel all produce different solutions based on their conventional and stereotypical thinking. Some suggest dismantling the truck, while others propose demolishing that section of the bridge. The most creative solution is proposed by a young person who happens to be passing by and witnessing the discussion: “Why don't you let the air out of the tires?” Everyone is astonished. The young person's suggestion is applied, the truck's tires are deflated, the height of the truck decreases, and it easily frees itself from where it was stuck. The simplest solution came from the most unexpected person.
